Ciara’s interests include Rock n’ Roll music, horror movies, tattoo culture, surfing and Halloween. As a child, she loved watching her mother – a former model – apply her make-up and put her hair up. After high school, Ciara discovered her passion for hair when she happened upon the Hair Styling Program presentation at VCC. She asked her stylist for advice and dove headfirst into her training at AXIS Hair Salon. Since then, she has travelled around North America for her training and learned from companies such as Redken and Aveda. She completed the Blonding Expert Course in 2010 at Redken in New York City. With over 20 years of experience, Ciara specializes in blonding and structured cuts to messy Rock n’ Roll inspired cuts. She draws her inspiration from music culture, cult classic movies and nature, but she is also always open to learning from other stylists and artists. Ciara loves her clients and they love her as well for her skill and attention-to-detail that makes every client feel at ease and confident.
